This high-performance μ-processor controlled electronic load series features all necessary functions typically required in demanding R&D and industrial testing environment. They are designed for the testing of components and devices such as semiconductors, analogue and digital circuits, power-supplies, capacitors, batteries, fuel cells etc. All crucial operation modes i.e. constant voltage-, current, -power and resistance (CV, CC, CP, CR) are provided, making this series and ideal tool for automated test benches and burn-in facilities. Moreover, EA-ELR 9000 series features a unique state-of-the-art inverter function with energy recovery.
The energy extracted from the DC source under testing is inverted and mains synchronised into AC 20/230/240V 50/60 Hz and this energy then feed back into the local mains power grid, enabling to supply AC power to djacent equipment on the grid. With an inverter efficiency of >90%, the enormous heat dissipation of 100% typically found at conventional electronics load is therefore almost eliminated. An ultra-fast response time (<50 μs), high system flexibility and precision, analogue and digital interface control facilities such as standard 0-10V and USB on board and RS232, CAN, Ethernet, Profibus optionally, make this series an extremely versatile and energy-efficient tool in testing environment. An easy-to-operate human interface (touch panel) with high-end graphic display and control software (optional) for automated testing (sequencing/ data logging) are provided.
